The People Behind the Chaos!

The reason
I make games

Stuart Martin, Founder

I’m Stuart, CEO and Co-founder of Hyper Luminal Games. Over the past 12+ years, I’ve helped build Scotland’s largest independent work-for-hire studio, developed 100+ games and brought creative ideas to life alongside some of the most talented people in the industry.

Silly Bytes is my chance to put those years of experience into a new, independent venture with a playful silly direction of its own. At heart, I’m a family man. Spending time with my family is what matters most to me, and that’s the inspiration behind Silly Bytes. I want to make games that bring people together, make us laugh and turn an ordinary evening into a memorable family night. With that simple goal in mind and by working with independent collaborators, I’m finally bringing my own ideas to life.

Every step of the way I’m supported by the two best play-testers in the world and my incredible Wife who still laughs at my jokes after all these years.

This is a small studio with big ambitions, because life is too short not to play silly!
